Pet wellness—Pet wellness and preventive care is our primary focus. Annual physical examinations, routine vaccinations (or titer testing), and good nutrition combine to keep your pet happy and healthy.
Veterinary laser surgery—All of our surgeries are performed exclusively using CO2 laser. There are numerous benefits including less bleeding, less pain, and quicker recovery times.
Laser and stem cell therapy—Laser therapy stimulates tissues to heal themselves and allows for decreased inflammation, reducing pain in a drug-free manner.
Stem cell therapy involves extracting stem cells from the patient’s own fat cells, and then transplanting them into areas that are damaged, such as arthritic joints. Dr. DeRose is one of only a few veterinarians in Ontario licensed to perform stem cell therapy.
Pet dental care—Pet dental care is a critical part of health maintenance for any pet. Part of your pet’s annual physical exam includes a detailed examination of his or her teeth and gums. Recommendations may include brushing more frequently, a professional in-hospital dental scaling, or a diet and treats that can slow the progression of dental disease.
Pet nutrition counseling—We will help provide you with the knowledge you need to feel confident that you are giving your pet diet choices for sustaining good health.
Laboratory diagnostics—All of our diagnostics are performed by acclaimed Idexx Laboratories, conveniently located in Markham, allowing for speedy results.
Hospitalization—Hospitalization may be necessary at some point in your pet’s life. If that happens, we offer accommodations for as many days as needed to bring your pet back to health.
